Big Eighties Vintage Scarf Clip/Brooch

This is quite a rare piece of vintage jewellery that is big and bold as was most eighties accessories.

A vintage brooch and vintage scarf clip in one.

It is not only a vintage brooch but has an extra piece for threading a scarf through - only the

eighties could have produced such an accessory.

In a golden embossed metal of a large size 95 x 60 mm.

Ball and clasp pin to the reverse.

Condition good with a small amount of patination.

"Fold an oblong scarf in half to form a rectangle.

Take hold of the two opposite corners and shape into two triangles (pirate style)

Drape around neck so that the two ends are to the left or right.

Push the two ends through the tube opening on this vintage brooch and fasten to top

Adjust the scarf as necessary"
