A large fine bone china purple vintage brooch by Coalport.
Striking English vintage jewellery with purple frilled edging to the floral corsage.
Large in size of about 45 mm or 1 3/4 inches.
Ball and clasp safety fastening to the reverse.
Signed COALPORT CHINA and Made in England on the gold tone backing.
Condition is very good - no damage noted.
Coalport potteries was established in about 1750 in the district of Stoke on Trent, Shropshire in the UK.
It became part of the Wedgwood group from 1967.
Dating this vintage brooch is difficult but would estimate this is a modern 1980s onwards production.
