A totally unique vintage brooch that was hand made in stainless steel

Engraved vintage jewellery in the shape of a Maltese cross

Maybe some one practicing making jewellery, trench or prisoner of war art.

There is some thing special about this brooch though

Extremely well made with a C-style clasp that looks Victorian in style

But as stainless steel was discovered in 1913, this is attributed to the early twentieth century.

Size 36 x 26 mm

Condition is very good

This is certainly a vintage brooch with a past!
