Happy New Year to all our customers old and new. As usual at this time of the year we take stock and plan for the coming year. Last year we expanded our sourcing and will be stocking much more this year than ever before ...........So watch this space.

New category - vintage Christmas jewellery added and all the Christmas brooches, earrings and pins are being added.

We have now completed our category changes. So sorry for any confusion. We still have to move some products into another category as well as there main ones. But now we can add many more pieces of vintage jewellery to Jewels and Finery.

Easter information - although the website will remain open and orders will be taken during the Easter weekend and bank holidays. No items will be posted after 12 midday 21/4/11 until Tuesday 26th April 2011, when we return to normal service. Have a Happy easter.

Finally completed the new jewellery addition in the vintage inspired jewellery category. Lots of jewellery is to be added in bracelets, earrings, brooches and rings. We have also added a gallery for the jewellery that is sold for additional information and dating purposes see sold jewellery gallery. So have a happy Valentines day until next time.

Time is flying by this year. We have had a stock check and implemented some new themes for easier browsing. Have a look at our black and Gothic jewellery or party jewellery

With Valentines day on the 14th of this month, we have some Romantic vintage jewellery pieces.

Natural wood jewellery both vintage and second hand are ideal for spring and summer wear. So we have created a new themed category for this.

Weddings take place through out the year and so we have decided to create a new wedding themed jewellery category. Choose between traditional wedding jewelelry for white and faux pearl pieces. Or pin a blue brooch for luck on your garter or bridal bouquet. You will find them in our something blue vintage jewellery.

Happy New Year. Following another brisk and busy Christmas, Mark and I have taken a couple of weeks rest. So our shelves are a bit bare at the moment. But lots of antique, vinatage and pre owned jewellery to come. Watch out for our new features and blog post in the next few weeks.

Sale now on in our Vintage Christmas jewellery department - up to half price on selective items.

5 days to Christmas. Snow and ice has caused problems with all postal deliveries, that includes Royal Mail and other packet/parcel delivery services. There has been a huge increase in online shopping this year as well. Unfortunately this has caused a slower delivery than we are used to.

We remain open as usual on Jewels and Finery and will still post daily Monday to Friday - excluding Christmas Eve. There will be no posting from 24/12/10 until 29/12/10. Then for New year we will post up till 31/12/10. Then there will be no posting out from 1/1/11 until 4/1/11.

9 days to Christmas and with snow with the unprecedented amount of mail, there are delays with the post. Royal Mail is no longer guaranteeing next day delivery but it does take priority over 1st and 2nd class post.

19 days to Christmas. After last weeks heavy snow falls, here in the UK. Postal services are almost back to normal. Deliveries are taking place to those areas in Scotland that were unreachable last week. Last postal day recommended for Royal Mail post to Australia, New Zealand, South and Central America.

Blogging is as when we can in this busy season.

25 days to Christmas - this is certainly our busiest. Now our third year for Jewels and Finery. Last Friday to Monday we had a major disruption with our Internet service and had limited access. Hopefully this is now repaired.

Telephone orders can only be taken between 9 am and midday.
