A large vintage brooch in a flower carnation design
This huge brooch is of a gold tone metal with a ball and clasp fastening. It has a signature on the reverse of Exquisite and the copy right sign
Exquisite was a trade mark used by the company Watson Ltd from 1914 to the late 1970s.
As the theme is flowers then I would suggest this is a 1960s floral brooch.
When flower designed jewellery was very fashionable
Quite large or huge so ideal for focal or as a statement piece of vintage jewellery - use on a hat, bag or on a large coat lapel.
It measures approximately 100 x 40 mm in size
In good condition, slight rubbing to the metal only
Carnations were a favourite flower used in Exquisite designs.
