Another rare zodiac vintage brooch by BJL in the form of Leo the lion

Enamel and marcasite animal vintage jewellery for the birth sign of those born between July 23rd and August 22nd

Small to medium in size of approximately 33 x 35 mm or 1 1/4 x 1 1/2 inches

Hand enameled animal motif in a light brown with red accents and real marcasite

Set onto a rhodium silver coloured metal

Ball and clasp fastening

Unsigned but known to be from the manufacturer BJL - as we have a signed vintage brooch version of one of the other astrological signs

Condition is very good with a small amount of wear to the enamel and a bend in the pin

BJL are thought to be from the UK - where most of their high quality vintage jewellery is found
