Tulip Flower Brooch

A very unusual vintage brooch in the shape of a large tulip.

Encrusted with green and translucent diamante with a simulated pearl bead. All set in a gold tone metal with a ball & clasp fastening

Probably dates from the fifties to the sixties with the flower theme

We think this is no ordinary brooch but designed to hold a small spray of flowers. The top of the tulip is open and is bolted together to leave a small hole

Quite a focal or statement flower brooch. Can be worn on its own or with a spray of small flowers

The brooch measures about 65 x 15 mm
