This is a most gorgeous long vintage beads necklace from Western Germany.
Beautiful colours of pastel pink, blue and white and very long with two strands (not just the one) !
This vintage beads necklace is made up of molded glass beads that has had the colours of light pink and blue mixed together with a dash of white.
Vintage jewellery that is unique as each bead is not quite the same colour.
We have been wondering how these have been made, as some have the look of givre beads and some do not - whatever they are absolutely fabulous.
This long vintage necklace also has translucent beads of blue and clear used as spacers.
The white beads are a mix of faceted rounds and molded with a honeycomb look. All of them have a light coating of aurora borealis to give a light rainbow shimmer.
Then for superior quality has each bead hand knotted in a blue thread to match.
Such a totally unique piece of vintage jewellery completed with a push in clasp fastening that has an ornate cab decoration and is in a gold metal setting.
Signed Western Germany - so this was made between 1948 and 1990s, probably the 1960s.
Long lengths of 36 inches or 90 cm for the longest strand and 32 inches or 82 cm for the slightly shorter one.
There is some weight to this vintage necklace however of 182 grams.
Very good condition and as usual impeccably cleaned by Jewels and Finery.
