Vintage Jewellery Eagle Brooch 1930s

A silver metal bird vintage brooch of an eagle in flight

The silver metal has a hint of red enamel to the birds feet and dating about the 1930s to 1950s.
Vintage jewellery produced by Charles Horner.

Stamped to produced round small inverted faceted circles on the wings and body catch the light.

Resembles faux marcasite effect

There seems to have been red enamel to the birds feet but this has mostly worn away

Medium sized vintage eagle bird brooch of approximately 58 x 52 mm

C shaped clasp on the reverse

Condition as previously described enamel missing on feet otherwise very good.

Unsigned but clearly identified as from the Charles Horner factory.

Interesting vintage brooch of a bird of prey made in the style that other vintage jewellery can be found from that period.
The eagle is often used by the US and is a favorite symbol in Native American jewellery.
